The collection

Every book. One standard.

Every Crayon Chic book is printed in premium color on the same 8.5 × 11 in page, so your shelf grows as one collection. We begin with Lebanon. More places and subjects will follow.

Color guide → your turn

Every dish gets two pages.

On the left, a full-color guide. On the right, bold line art ready for crayons. Drag to see both.

Thoughtfully made

Small hands. Big pictures.

Every dish was chosen with input from a family of chefs. Start with the standouts: tabbouleh and kibbeh.

Bilingual

Every name in English and Arabic.

Each dish and each smiling ingredient friend is labeled twice, so children growing up far from Lebanon learn the words of their heritage while they color.

تبولة · كبة · حمص

Bold lines

Made for ages 2–6.

A finished version sits next to each picture, so they always know what goes where, or decide to go their own way.

Our story

More than a coloring book.

Crayon Chic began with a newborn daughter and a simple wish: to build something small, beautiful and lasting for her. Founder Ray Safi comes from the world of technology, so he knows how much of childhood now happens on a screen. In the age of AI, he set out to bring back something wonderfully real. A page. A crayon. Time to slow down.

The name

Crayon is French for pencil. Chic means premium. Together, a simple promise: everyday coloring, made with uncommon care.

For parents

A gentle way to teach a culture, a cuisine, a language. Every book turns a subject into pages your child will want to finish.

For grown-ups

A quiet hour and a clear mind. More detailed designs for adults are part of where Crayon Chic is going.

Ray grew up a perfectionist: detail-oriented, passionate, and always noticing the little things. That care goes into every page. One day we’d love to draw the same dish twice, simple for kids and detailed for grown-ups, so you can color side by side.
